TALLER FROM COCOA TO CHOCOLATE
Our cocoa-chocolate workshop offers a complete experience: from the evaluation and roasting of cocoa, through hulling and manual grinding, to the preparation of a 65% fondue. Additionally, it includes an educational tour of the crops and a delicious meal.
PALMAS AND PIJAO
After breakfast, we depart at Willys from the Hotel to the El Silencio Fog Forest, where you can appreciate the beauty of the Quindío wax palms and the yellow-eared parrots. You will tour a forest of ancient oak trees, enjoy a picnic with Colombian flavors, and visit Pijao for a coffee tasting. The experience includes a herbarium and a fruit infusion, with return to Casa Rivera del Cacao. Activities, transfers and consumption described are included, except for souvenirs and coffee beans.
BIRDS OF THE RIVER
Immerse yourself in a morning tour among feathers, songs and colors, where you can observe nearly 100 species of birds in their natural habitat. With binoculars and a specialized guide, discover the charm and behavior of these winged wonders.
SPIRITS
Presentation of the different types of Colombian distillates and tasting of three of the rums and two of the premium Colombian spirits. There is also a talk about the history of rum and spirits in Colombia.
CORDILLERA COFFEE
Explore the coffee process from plant to cup! Collect grains, watch live roasting and enjoy tastings from various regions (Cauca, Huila and Tolima). Visit the San Alberto hacienda and discover the unique flavor of coffee in a coffee-growing municipality.
TRANSPORT
We offer transportation from the airport to the ranch so that your trip is completely pleasant and worry-free. Learn and enjoy the magic of coffee in a natural and welcoming environment.
